The topic is dedicated to the living environment, the health and safety, medical diagnosis and the security of the citizen.

Contributions will address systems and applications for industrial, environmental sensing and biosensing.Micro/nanosystems (MEMS/NEMS), sensors and lab-on-chip in the production and quality control of food, the environmental safety and the security of the citizen. Contributions should envisage fabrication and application of micro/nanotechnology devices and methods for quality control, protection of the environment, health diagnostics and therapy, including BioMEMS, lab/organ/cell on chip, biochemical reactors, flexible /disposable reactors for sensing and point-of-care.
